This is framing because it focused on a certain element being the creek and the background. Framing This is leading line because I'm focusing on the trail leading up. Leading Line This is symmetry because the two trees are symmetrical to eachother. Symmetry This is rule of thirds because you can divided the image into thirds. Rule Of Thirds This is crop because the image is focusing on the duck and nothing else. Crop Tjis is fibonacci because the metal fence makes the pattern if you look close enough. Fibonacci

For this project, I used a picture of my brother and his girlfriend on my IPhone 8+. I took this picture this summer outside of my house on the street and really tried to capture the beaming sun hit the trees and the neighborhood in the back. I also used a k de on my iPhone called “portrait mode” and it allowed to focus on them and blur the back to give it a cool effect. The main reason why I chose this photo is because I really loved how happy my brother and his girlfriend looked so I wanted that emotion to “pop out”.
So my first step was to cut out just my brother and his girlfriend, then cut the middle ground, finally after that I cut the background. As soon as I got all the main parts cut out it was time to put them on the cardboard and trace it out. I used the blade to outline the photos to the cardboard so therefore i can start taping and make it look 3D. Finally I taped and put the cut outs in order from the beginning to the background and there came out my sculpture. What I really liked about the sculpture was how it really captures and almost brings the photo to life with the 3D effect. |
