After learning this project step by step I have gained a great understanding of what it takes to make a great time-lapse. First it takes finding a good area where its less populated so no one gets in your shot and also taking the time out of your dating to do it. The hardest part about the whole project is having to be patient and trusting yourself that its positioned well. It also depends how long you are willing to sit and wait till the whole process is over but after its all over the timelapse are breathe taking. After many attempts of creating a GIF this has probably been the most difficult project to follow, atleast for me. I created this GIF in photoshop and it took me quite some time to get the steps right , with a gif depending on how long it is you take a certain amount of photos, for this image I took six and after each phot I backed up a step and zoomed my lens more and that how I was able to get her to come closer in the GIF.
Eduardo, Class of 2019, Happy Darkness
This is a picture of a skull that I believed was smiling with dead flowers behind it. I titled it "Happy death" because the skull is smiling and there is flowers in the back representing happiness but what makes it dark is the skull and the fact that the flowers are dead. I chose to have the photo black and white to she to meanings of darkness and happiness, I used photoshop to edit this photo. |
